Niels Johannesen is Director of the Oxford University Centre for Business Taxation, Professor of Economics and Business at Oxford University and Professor of Economics at the University of Copenhagen. Most of his research revolves around tax evasion and the use of tax havens by firms and wealthy households. His work has been published in journals such as the American Economic Review, Journal of Political Economy, PNAS, Journal of Finance, Review of Financial Studies, American Economic Journal: Applied Economics, American Economic Journal: Economic Policy, Journal of the European Economic Association, Economic Journal, Journal of International Economics and Journal of Public Economics.
